Press release on an exchange of greetings between Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Minister of International Relations of the Republic of Botswana Phenyo Butale on the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries

On March 6, Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov and Minister of International Relations of the Republic of Botswana Phenyo Butale exchanged messages of greetings on the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.  

The ministers underscored the friendly nature of Russia-Botswana ties and reaffirmed the shared intent of Moscow and Gaborone to promote productive interaction in politics, trade, the economy, and other areas.
